Unsecure chicken perches

One of my new girls lays double yolkers every other day and today we have broken Tuesday's egg into a cup ready for an omelette and its a triple yolker! Is this a record - we've taken a photo which I'll try and upload (once I wokr out how). It has to be said - it is my very big girl who is responsible, she's so large that my Mum is convinced she is a turkey in disguise!

Wow! I've never even had a double yolker let alone a triple. It must have been huge!

Wow! That's amazing. We had two double yolkers from two of our girls this week. Must have been something in the air!

I had some double yolkers from my now departed White Star when she first came into lay but have NEVER had a triple.

Thats very exciting but sorry to dissapoint, no record, i had quite a few triple yolkers when my girls first started laying.

It is quite a shock when you crack an egg and find three yolks though! It does settle down once they get into the swing of things though.
