My wife and I purchased the normal Eglu with 2 much loved chickens (Nick and Margaret) in May 2009, sadly Nick has been unwell for the last 6 months and we have been nursing her along. Unfortunately Nick didn't come out of the Eglu this morning and I want Margaret to have company. I know my wife will be upset when she finds out this evening but I was hoping to have a plan ready to introduce 2 new chickens to stay with Margaret. I thoroughly recommend Kirsty at Hens4Homes - you have to make an appointment, but she has lovely healthy chickens at POL, and a good range of breeds. We have just nearly completed our first introductions & my advice is to just take it slowly. I tried to rush the chooks & they rebelled. They are all happy now.
