did anyone see this programme last Weds or Thurs? it was FAB! this young-ish chap wants to build a crocodile zoo, and it was the story of his life - how he'd got into crocs, everything he knew about them, including keeping about 30 in his back garden, travelling the world to meet croc experts etc etc. he has a very long-suffering wife and 3 small children.

we loved it, so great to see someone following their dreams so whole-heartedly. there is another episode next week...C5 I think.

Yes, i thought it was fabulous, I'm totally in awe of the guy ... also makes me feel better about keeping installing a Cube in my tiny garden - the croc man's garden didn't look that big, but if he can cram 23+ crocs into it, I'm sure there's room for a Cube in mine!!

Wish him lots of luck - he seemed a really nice guy with a very supportive wife too!

 

PS. Do you think he asks the neighbours to pop in and feed the crocs when he goes on holiday

Bramble, he was brilliant wasnt he? I just love that someone has a dream like that, and it looks as if it will come true. (although dont think his wife was too keen on feeding the crocs while he was away )

She was pretty incredible too, I thought, at one point she said "if you want to be with Steve [i think that was his name ]you've got to take the crocs too", thought she had a fantastic attitude.

I saw the trailer for it, but missed the programme, good for him though...............I wonder what my neighbour's reaction would be to having a croc in our garden

I think he might have the condition known as morecrocs disease, closely related to morehens syndrome but a bit more dangerous and expensive

episode 2 was on tonight. he is clearly barkingly obsessed, but everyone seems to love him and all his family/friends are so supportive. love it!
