gift bag for daughter..?

Recommended Posts

You so want everything to go right for your children. I have three and it seems the worries do not get any less as they get older. I hope she gets the job but if not hopefully she can see it as gaining experience of dealing with interviews and having an idea of the questions she may be asked. Do you think she would maybe think of working in a charity shop? It would get her up to date references and experience. Also it may build her confidence. I don't know if she puts her spatial awareness problem on applications but some large companies want to include people in their workforce with "disabilities"- I do not know if you would class it as strongly as that. Although as you say it obviously impacts her life greatly.

On a more light hearted note,in a job application I had to fill it it asked all sorts, disabilities, race etc etc. I really felt to get the job you had to be able to put a tick one of the boxes. The job was in Scotland and as I am English I was able to tick one of the boxes! Suppose I got it on being in a minority group

Seriously though I do hope things work out for the best for all of you :D

thanks..had her on the phone, her dad is now saying he cant feed Zinger, her guinea pig, so she is probably going to have to do a split session-she was going to come up on thursday and do the chickens and cats on thurs, fri and saturday morning..so now shes looking at doing thursday, go back home (2 or 3 buses each way) stay there 1 night, then come back (another 2 or 3 buses) and do another night here, then go back again. As she also has a cat even if we brought Zinger over here that wouldn't help-her brother is at home but he wont do them-especially as its only needed because she is helping me out-he wont have anything to do with me because I left his dad.. as I said, nasty break up..

we do lots of stuff together when we can-I'm back at work next week so that'll take up some time but we get together as much as possible and try to take her and bf out for a meal or cook for them here once a week..

thing is cos shes feeling down she doesnt like me spending money on her, always saying things are too expensive or that she doesnt need them. I've started sending up food parcels for her and bf too-she doesnt like asking her dad when stuffs running short..i've stopped asking if she needs stuff now and just present her with the bag of stuff-usually try and make sure theres the making of at least 2 meals and some extra treats-packets of jelly etc

just feels horrible really..i want her here with me and she cant be-but as my partner says, it could be that she'd been the one moving out getting her own place now me and then she could've been the same distance away-just hard that shes with someone I had to leave and she gets to put up with him..for now
