Recommended Posts

Hi, have got 2 of my girls in the hospikal wing! aka (pink eglu) !! they are in there as they have sniffles and sneezes, they are on baytril for this. they are desperate to get out and free range, breaks my heart to see them iin the run all day, i have given them thiings to keep them occupied and everything but its not the same for them, so can i let them free range for abit?not with the others i know but on their own for an hour or 2? or is this something strictly forbidden? thanks xxx

I'd err on the side of caution. If it's nice, sunny and warm and they aren't passing infection on elsewhere then I would, but if it's weather like we've been having lately (showers - and a lot of them heavy) then I'd make them stay under cover. They do try and manipulate you - I had to fence off the upper part of the garden much to my girls disgust. They begged and whinged but they have got used to it now. Hard I know, but tell them it's for their own good!
