squiffs
I just had my first cup of this today, and I have to say I'm intrigued. It is supposed to have 137x the antioxidants of a standard cup of green tea, and 70x that of a glass of orange juice! Supposedly gives you an energy boost for 3-6 hours and aids concentration by giving you a clearer mind than a high caffeine alternative It looks very pricy, a tub of powder being around £20-£30 for the high grade stuff, which works out at 35p a cup, but the reviews I've read of it are unanimously positive. Perhaps I will buy a tub on my next payday. I liked it because it wasn't very 'weedy' which some green teas tend to be. It was a very rich dark green colour, rather than the watered down tint a teabag brew would give. It looks as if it can be used with milk, in smoothies, as a shot, all sorts. I do feel quite perky this morning, and in a pretty chipper mood, but it's hard to say whether that's related, placebo, or not. Any other omleteers tried this? Thoughts? lillybettybabs
I've seen it on Teapigs website and thought about trying it.
squiffs
I've seen it on Teapigs website and thought about trying it. If I were you I'd buy it directly from Vitalife. I had a teapigs one today from the coffee shop, but vitalife is much cheaper, and holland and barrett sell it too, so I guess it's good stuff, although they do put their mark up on it, and they don't sell the tea kit. (yes, I have researched it thoroughly in anticipation of payday )
