fantasticjudyann
My newbies are roosting outside because the original two won't let them in the Go. Will this harm them and when will the older two relent and let the newbies inside? The weather's fine at the moment but I don't want them out in the cold. Advice please Omleteers. chuckmum6
They will be fine, the others will accept them soon and they will be all in bed together soon. Don't worry, they probably sneak in when the others nod off any way, that's what my pullets do!
Space Chick
Chickens have a higher body temperature than us, so are less affected by the cold. I have a couple of nutters that insist on perching in the WIR even when it snows
Plum
You could put a cat box in the run as temporary housing for them until they are confident.
