sadietoo
Today I gave the girls some extra pasta which I had made...(only two of us now, still cooking for three!) and Pansy as usual was first in. It was a new experience for my orpie and two peepers, (actually they sound like foghorns now!) but they quickly got the hang. Pansy was a bit put out and showed her displeasure by pecking Mabel, on the derriere (as our ballet teacher used to say all those years ago)...the cheeky minx though waited until Pansy had gone back to eating pasta before nipping back in quickly and pecking her on the bum !!! Pansy wasn't too sure what to make of that...it's not the sort of behaviour she expects from a properly brought up chick......so she gave one of her withering looks before gathering together as much dignity as she could muster, and stately as a galleon she walked off down the garden! Snowy
My pekin peepers discovered pasta today as well! Cheeky madams ate their own, then when I threw some down for the big girls, the pekins popped through the omlet netting under their beaks, snaffled their pasta and dashed back!
