NFMC Posted October 7, 2011 Share Posted October 7, 2011 I'm going out tonight about 20 minutes before my chickens would put themselves to bed. Is it best to try and get them in the coop a little bit early and shut the door then or - as it's a mildish night - leave them in the run to put themselves to bed and close the door when I get in at 11.00ish? Then you can leave them in there and shut the eglu when you get home.
