Chicken bald back

I bought some pork loin steaks today (on special offer!) but I have never cooked them before, does anyone have any tasty recipes?

Oooh, I have one! It's actually a chicken one, but works as well with pork

I didn't like the lemon potatoes though. The dressing was a bit too close to lemon cheesecake.

Always makes me laugh when they go through my till,as I remember when my daughter was small & I bought some - she thought they were Lion steaks

 

I pan fry mine with some onions until nearly cooked,add a good dollop of apple sauce,a hefty slosh or cider,some black pepper,then serve with mash & broccoli...yum!

Right yu can either make a hazlenut stuffing , squodge on top & wrap in bacon. Or do as my butchers does..split a herby fat sausage, squogde on top & wrap in bacon. Serve with either a plum jam, Apricot jam or redcurrant jelly sauce. To make the sauces spoon out jam in pan, squeeze a lemon & add a bit of water...heat until jam is melted,do not boil.
