Coop light problems!

The other evening I was switching ES's computer off and before the tuneful "de de de deeer" music I heard a loud male yawn. OH, my dad and sons were in the other room with door shut so I knew it wasnt them. I rushed into sitting room and told them the computer had yawned when I switched it off. "yeah mum yeah whatever" ES said snidely - I suspect one of them has downloaded something not intentially. Last night it did it again and frightened me to death. OH came and switched it back on fiddled and switched it off and no yawn. So they have ordered van and men in the white coats. Typical only does it for me - its like it knows twilight zone music heard in background

Typical! It's a bit like when I hear a strange noise and neither DH or DS who are in the same room can hear it

 

Although I think it has been proven that women can hear sounds at higher frequencies than men, but TBH I think that males just have selective hearing

Do you have Skype ? That makes a noise like a yawn when it shuts down.

In a way, I hope it's not that as I prefer the idea of a tired PC having a yawn.

Perhaps you weren't turning the 'pooter off after all, and in fact it was only snoozing.....

Reminds me of an old cupboard / sideboard we've just bought that makes a bang / bump noise.

I thought we's inherited a ghost, but realised it's the wood expanding when we light our open fire.

I'd have been spooked at the yawning computer.

Aww! I like the men in white coats They take me to the ball pond to play. It's loads of fun & very bouncy. however, they are mean & take all the balls away & there's no one else to play with

We havent told ES who was sooo mocking - waiting till hes had an evening on skpe and then will switch off in his presence mwah mwah - watch the hit the fan
