Parsley Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 Hopefully Father Christmas is bringing me some money for an incubator Having never had one before or even hatched (hens have always gone broody at the wrong times ) I am looking for tips on what is a good incubator and what features should I look for. Is automatic humidity highly recommended? I have been looking at the R-COMs, does anyone have any experience of these. I asked the same question when i was trying to decide which incubator to get, and decided on the Brinsea Octagon 20 automatic, and am very pleased with it. The Incubator Shop is a good place to look too - give them a call, they are very helpful and their service is excellent. The mini's are good if just hatching 6 eggs.I've had some brilliant success with these. Very easy for a newbie to hatching!
