Alis girls
There was an article recently and I have lost the paper (may be the Mail) about pets being psycjic. I was telling OH about it and said I thought our daft tabby was psychic as she knows when I am going to hoover and runs for cover. OH replied he thought it might be cos she knows I keep hoover in understairs cupboard Serioulsy though - I finish work at 6pm on a tuesday and our other cat waits in the drive for me to turn up. hes there every night without fail. We live on a busy main road so I dont think its the sound of the car. My mums old cat (this is yrs ago) died of old age and waited till mum got in from work being lying down and dying peacefully. Anyone else got a psychic pet? If I find article will try and link it.
mollyripkim
Not sure if it counts as phychic but my dogs definitively know when I have a migraine, I usually lay on the settee and they lay with me perfectly still and calm, normally it's a lot of licking, playing etc before I turf them off! The Dogmother
Both of mine can assess moods pretty well, they also know the sound of my car outside
pips_pekins
Not sure about any of my pets being psychic. Years ago I had a wonderful cat who was always waiting to greet me when I got home. The house was a mid-terrace with no drive so I used to have to park anywhere. Sometimes it would be in a neighbouring road around the corner and sure enough he would come skipping along to meet me from there. I don't think the dog is as aware as she takes her time to get to the front door to greet us when we get in. Although we have a drive, we tend to use the rooms at the back of the house so this might explain why she doesn't recognise the sound of our cars over the neighbours'. She has certainly been aware of DS being ill but only because her routine has been affected. She can tell our happy faces from sad though and has smiled back at us from being a puppy when she is really happy. Looks a bit freaky but is a copy of our silly faces when we get home to her
