2009 Omlet cube and run for sale

I have been searching for ages for a little vintage sewing machine. It had to be just right & none electric. There was one in Aberystwyth C.R.A.F.T recycling shop some time ago. I ummed & ahhed & by the time I went back it had sold. Oh blast!

I have searched & searched & I even fell in love with the one Chummy was using in Call the Midwife, to sew her uniform.

Well today I have bought the exact right one! I just can't wait to get it here!!!

A cute little thing, with a handle that you wind round. Only a crafter would understand my need to have this old fashioned machine. I will be sewing together a few little cotton squares to make scented bags.

But this little machine will need a name. It is very small & cute & very vintage.

Any ideas?

A friend has one and brings it to our exhibition for everyone to sew a piece for charity and it's really nostalgic to use. You'll have to put your hair in a 50's style and wear a vintage dress when you use it

Ha ha I like Chummy! I love all that vintage style stuff. Our living room is very vintage styled. It's the look we love!

Would be funny to turn up at my craft group for the quilted landscape with this little number! Would be slightly quicker than hand sewing.

My friend has one called Bunty and mine is called Betsy........don't know if that's any help though

Still undecided on my mini machine's name! But it's now living with me here in my home & it's lovely!

Hoping to sit & make a little something with it tomorrow. Will take a photo of it too for you to oogle over.
