There was one in Aberystwyth C.R.A.F.T recycling shop some time ago. I ummed & ahhed & by the time I went back it had sold. Oh blast! I have searched & searched & I even fell in love with the one Chummy was using in Call the Midwife, to sew her uniform. Well today I have bought the exact right one! I just can't wait to get it here!!! A cute little thing, with a handle that you wind round. Only a crafter would understand my need to have this old fashioned machine. I will be sewing together a few little cotton squares to make scented bags. But this little machine will need a name. It is very small & cute & very vintage. Any ideas? Would be funny to turn up at my craft group for the quilted landscape with this little number! Would be slightly quicker than hand sewing.
