Hello - does anyone have a video of a Cube with a run being moved? We currently have an Eglu Go that I've outfitted with wheels to make it function like a Chicken Tractor, but we are looking to upgrade and want to make sure the Cube can be moved easily about the yard.

No video but it can be moved with the run attached. I moved one with a 3 metre run on last weekend- only a few feet backwards though. It was a two person job- one pulling, one pushing. Hope that helps

Thanks for responding. I was hoping it could be moved alone, but it seems like I'll need a hand.

The Cube with 2m run is fine to move on its own - mine is in a permanent place on slabs but I regularly move the one at work to pressure wash it etc.

 

With the extra 3m run it is ok to do, just easier with another pair of hands

It's possible if your ground isn't too bumpy, when I had to move mine on my own I tried to reduce the weight by removing the back panel, roof, poo trays and roosting bars. Also it's a lot easier to do it with empty glugs and grubs

No, not just you. Although I only did it the one time when they were completely full.

 

In my defence I was moving 6 cubes on my own. And they were in a field. And I'd cleaned them all out before trying to move them. *sigh*

Still JEALOUS! I struggled moving our cube, but if you cleaned out 6 cubes in one go, I don't think anything will be a problem for you. Enjoy!
