Leeloo Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 A 50/50 blend of vinegar and alcohol will work if the earache is due to swimmer's ear. If that fails, I use a few drops of tea tree oil mixed with a teaspoon or so of olive oil. I try to stay on antihistamines during allergy season to keep inflammation down. I realize its probably not allergy season where you are, but here the pine pollen is starting to fall and it makes my sinuses go haywire! I have been using it. This morning i feel even worse. Hot head, sore throat and very sore ear. My nose is clear, but it always has been!!
