Horrid eh? Have you gotten checked out yet? I do hope that you aren't suffering too much, nothing worse than earache really IMHO...will keep an eye out for updates!!! {{{HUGS}}} xx

A 50/50 blend of vinegar and alcohol will work if the earache is due to swimmer's ear. If that fails, I use a few drops of tea tree oil mixed with a teaspoon or so of olive oil. I try to stay on antihistamines during allergy season to keep inflammation down. I realize its probably not allergy season where you are, but here the pine pollen is starting to fall and it makes my sinuses go haywire!

 

That was gross about the earring, Cinnamon, but glad it finally came out!

well i went to the docs. He told me to go to the pharmacy and get an otrevine nasal spray . Its a decongestant. I have been using it. This morning i feel even worse. Hot head, sore throat and very sore ear. My nose is clear, but it always has been!!

Go back. Tomorrow. I have finaly admitted to myself that I am losing my hearing and am picking up my first hearing aids tomorrow. Your hearing, like your sight, is precious so please look after it.

i know, i used to wear hearing aids as a child due to damage from the doctors not picking up an ear infection. Luckily it improved.

my Grandmother once told me that in Peru they coil up a piece of something flammable light the end and put (the unlighted end) in their ear... Sounds a bit dangerous to me!!!!

Hope you get better soon, earaches are a pain in..... well... the ear!!!

You can buy Hopi Ear Candles from places like Holland and Barratt. I did try them once when I had a blocked ear but I can't say it made any difference.
