Henslaved Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Does anyone know of any breeders of these birds, as I would love a couple of pullets to add to my flock but can't seem to source a breeder that isn't a 5hr round trip . Redwing Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Show breeders will travel the country a bit so it's worth asking if they get up north to a show where you could go and collect them There is a breeder near me that may go to the Derbyshire Championship show in Bakewell if that's any use? I did try to contact a breeder who shows his Cuckoo Maran Bantams, but was told he doesn't sell any . Maybe he thought I was competition . Its only £6 to join, and the Year Book each year lists the members. Marans Club President - Ken Nash is a good person to ask about Marans bantams.
