Today my 15 year old cocker spaniel, Daisy, decided to pop into the garden in the snow. I let her out and carried on doing the ironing ( yawn) she woofed to come back in after a bit.

She paced around for a while, not being able to get comfy, so I checked on her to find her shivering like mad. I gave her a huge cuddle and a rub but she really had the shivers. She shivered for ages and in the end I wrapped her in an old baby duvet we had from years ago. I folded it in half and it stayed on her nicely.

I can only think she sneakily ate a load of snow and that was what made her really chilly. Silly dog.

Oh poor thing, hotel she is ok. She sounds like a typical cocker that will eat anything even if it's not good for them. I have one of those too!

Awww bless her. What is it with dogs and snow? my slightly sandwich short of a picnic dog went frollicking and rolling in it too and came in with a million little snowballs stuck all over him
