BizzyMomma
Well! This morning when I got home from the yard I went up to poop pick the coops out and collect any eggs that Sunny & Eva may have laid, there was the usual offering from Sunny, nice white egg Nothing from Eva, but hey she's laid daily for 9 days now so she deserves a rest I guess? I nipped back up there later on and double checked their nesting box "just in case" and found this eye watering monster waiting for me!! So now the question is.... is this a Double Yolker or is it an "egg within an egg"?? I personnally think a double yolker as she laid yesterday, you can see that egg on the skelter behind Sunny's white one from today! Must say the size of it bought tears to my eye's and had me back out there turning poor Eva upside down to check for prolapses Can't weigh it as I don't have any digital scales, must get some now I reckon
Mum
Wow!!! You are only going to know by cracking it: finger's X'd its a double yoker ... on the other hand, an eggwithinanegg is such an experience, I sort of hope you have that!!! How much more "proof" do you need Eva is well back to "normality" She's a real rock star that girl Oh and btw, I have no digital scales either; I do have a set of "Salter" diet scales (don't ask ) which I use to weigh my eggs but only because it weighs small amounts than regular kitchen scales (yeah, right! ) Remember to take pix when you "crack" the mystery xMx

How much more "proof" do you need Eva is well back to "normality" She's a real rock star that girl She's an amazing girl and NO mistake Mum... in fact ED & I, having seen "War Horse" on it's opening night, have nick-named this truly amazing hen "War Chook"!! I am sooo proud of this brave girlie of ours... I really could not believe what I was seeing, Eva in the meantime was just strutting around with her usual "Yeah, your point being..." attitude Gawd Bless her
