shona Posted February 11, 2012 Share Posted February 11, 2012 Does anyone know of chicken friendly vets in my area. I live in Kelso, Roxburghshire in the Scottish Borders. We have friends near the castle at hulme I'd love to live up there. There's also some advice on the little hen rescue website which other re prolapses which others have tried. I don't know if this would be too much of a trek for you, but the Vet School just south of Edinburgh will treat chickens. They successfully treated one of my girls who had peritonitis. For example our local vets, whilst not being avian specialists, have vets who keep poultry and I am confident they know what they're doing.
