snowberry
This will lead to the co ordinates of the spot where the cache is; I'm stumped

snowberry
That's near the right co ordinates, but they're dummy ones!
snowberry
Phew! I can now put you all out of your misery Having solved the jigsaw, I then had to solve the code on the page. It was a cipher called (ahem!) Brainf@*£. This then translated into numbers (my computer didn't recognise it as numbers so this threw me out!). Then I had to decode the numbers in a vigenere cipher. This gave me at first seemingly random words, but I then realised that it was a shopping list for toys from a large internet retail store...so I went to the page for the two items & there! Lo & behold! I found the co-ordinates in the product description that led me to the second floor of a shopping centre in Penzance. So there we were yesterday, with me hanging over the edge of the paraphet, knowing that the cache I was looing for was there somewhere. However I'm not tall enough & failed to find the very small object I was looking for Then we had to go as it was school run time Within the hour someone else had solved the puzzle, been to ground zero & retrieved the cache Do any of you fancy helping me solve the next puzzle
Goosey Lucy
That was a doozy! Sorry you missed out on a FTF, I enjoy geocaching but that puzzle was way beyond my capabilities Good luck with any others you tackle, Lucy x
FoxFighters
We geocahe too! Do you really need to decode this? We were doing one with a cipher and we tried everything but just couldn't work it out. We used the hints, and found it (ok, it took 3 attempts but it was moved!) and we still to this day don't know the cipher
snowberry
Yes, it was nearby, but on the other side of the shopping centre; we eventually went back & retrieved it on Sunday night, so were STF

snowberry
Second To Find, as opposed to First To Find
cloud
I know you've found the cache, but if you still want to solve the cypher I think I know how. I believe it's written in a programming language (called a name I'm not going to type here. See this Wiki page). You need a compiler to turn it in to a program. If you run the program I would expect it to display useful message. That's my theory. I've not tried to do this yet (I'm at work). May try later, if no one else get there first - good one for a computer geek
gongladosh
there are various cypher apps you can download to help work out what the codes mean.
snowberry
Yes Cloud, I did solve the puzzle, then the cipher & the next....and the next! I have learnt so much since then regarding 'other ways to think'. There are some truly devilish ones planned for the area so I hear...
