Frogs overload

Recommended Posts

:shock: seriously impressed, I have a wildlife pond but no frogs, although I do have newts. Is this early or about the right time for froggies? It sounds like you are doing a very good job indeed!

At the weekend we dug out a bank and a huge toad rolled out. I think he may have been hibernating (although do they hibernate?) I'm so glad I didn't prong him with my fork. I picked him up and he opened both eyes slowly and slowly moved about, he was lovely 8) I put him back in a safe place and I hope he survives :D

PS I know there is another thread going about peoples fear of/overcoming frog aversions! Cross posted with Emma!

I'd LOVE a pond!! A real one . . I have a large shallow tub trug which is my pond. :( Small but it has floating planks in so the bbes can drink without drowning. Plus hostas and a bit of pond weed. I do have plans for a much larger pond but I'm waiting for DS to out grow football in the garden!!!!
