Wanted - Eglu Cube Mk1 Roosting Bars

Milly, my lovely ISA Brown, started moulting about 2 weeks ago but has started laying eggs again. She has new feather shafts coming through and is eating fine (gave her some extra protein) but I've never seen chicken start laying midway through the moult before. Is there anything I can do to assist her with her moult as she does a look a bit skinny compared to the others (lack of feathers allowing)? Thanks

Milly is growing her feathers quite quick and I think now has a bit of respite now Mabel the Speckledy and Daisy the Orpington have started laying again. She's has had two days rest, plenty of protein and looks a whole lot better

One of my girls only had a mini moult , but she did not stop laying..She looks just lovely with her new feathers ready for the spring.

Milly is looking a whole lot better now. Gave her extra protein and although she's the skinniest chicken of the lot, she now has a good crop of feathers and laying great eggs. Guess she is a chicken 'on the go'!
