Cate in NZ
I agree with Practical Poultry, but can I also suggest Country Smallholder, it's generally got quite a lot about chickens which is always interesting, but also includes other features about gardening and other varieties of livestock. It gives me loads of ideas and keeps me dreaming

ubereglu
Where do you find Practical Poultry in WHSmiths. I looked everywhere in ours and it doesn't sell it!!!!!BOOOOOOOOO! I can get hold of Country Smallholding, from Mole Valley, but I'd just like a bit more chickeness instead.
Guest
Thank yor for telling us about those magazines. No WHS for miles and miles, do perhaps the village paper shop will get it in. It seems to get hold of everything. I know that you shouldn't ask if you can't afford it, but I just wondered How much are they and are they weekly or monthly or what. Thanks in advance
Mrs Frugal
You can subscribe on-line for Practical Poultry magazine and it's £30.25 per year and there is a subscription site for Grow Your Own magazine too for £36.95.
