TAJ
We had a great time in China - saw lots of things (don't mention the Silkie extract on sale in the supermarket in Beijing with a picture of a white silkie on the front of the box!) Lots of experiences, but you will not be able to resist PANDAS This video only just over 3 mins - the full China video is nearer 4 hours! mollyripkim
We loved china too although didn't see any pandas, hubby took over 2000 photos. Loved the parks with all the locals dancing.
Duncan08
I saw the pandas in hong kong, they are gorgeous creatures and I was surprised at how small they were. Stupidly I had packed up my camera (was on the last day) and only managed to get a couple of poor photos on my phone. Thanks for sharing the video
Pearls007
We lived in Hong Kong while the children were young enough to enjoy Ocean Park (we could see it from home at one point!). We had a season ticket and it seemed like we went to see those pandas every week. I used to groan when someone suggested it on the way home from school. On my first trip to China before we had children we went to Canton Zoo to see the panda. We ended up in a minibus with Michael Jackson's backing singers from the Thriller album. They had a huge (HUGE) ghetto blaster with them and when we were beside the panda cage they switched it on and sang! I have never been in the middle of such a huge crowd as collected around them - absolutely surreal.
Cinnamon
Would love to go to China to see the Panda bears - I adore them! But the ones in Edinburgh might be a little easier to get to
Chookiehen
My parents live right next to the zoo in Edinburgh, but still managed to pitch up to see the pandas the day they opened the "love tunnel" and took the pandas away from public viewing! TAJ
We loved china too although didn't see any pandas, hubby took over 2000 photos. Loved the parks with all the locals dancing. I only took 600 photos, but also 4 hours of video (I had done some of the sights before) - my daughter took 1,500 photos - I have restricted her to one photobook that I will pay for (currently 40% discount) so she can select up to 136 to go in that.
