leedg Posted April 21, 2012 Share Posted April 21, 2012 im pretty sure there isn't any animal food manufacturer that won't test their product on animals, because at the end of the day thats its intended audience. For example, if a company developed a new healthy puppy food, it would have to test it on puppies before releasing it to the general population (e.g to make sure dogs like the taste of it, that there aren't any bad reactions etc). If the manufacturer didn't, and released it to the petshop without any trials, imagine the court cases and bad publicity if lots of puppies started losing there fur or getting stomach problems after eating it.
