BuryFCA1
Our hens are getting very very cheeky. They expect feeding every tme. They have plenty of space to roam in (10 square metres each) yet sill want to get out of the plot nto the grassy areas to wipe their feet (his is how it looks) and they pec away at meall the time. I l love them but I wish I could just take them back to the farm and the cages we rescued them from so we can remind them not to be so ungrateful! dancing cloud
Hens do demanding, gratitude is an alien concept to them . Good job we love them for what they are, spoiled cheeky little madams !
chickanne
T and L have just finished a week on flubenvetted pellets - no treats! Think I have suffered withdrawal symptoms more than they have. Today Louise drew blood when she jumped up for a piece of sweetcorn and knocked the quick of a nail. I have not seen the pair of them so greedy for a while. You would think that their lives depended on crunchy mealworms ....... Life would be so dull without chicken-cuddles. Just off to say "Goodnight and don't let the bed-bugs bite.." very apt in their case! Enjoy
