Our pekin chicks are currently on a mix of growers mash and chick crumb - that's another question actually, when can they go on just growers mash/pellets - which is best?

 

And secondly, when can they be given little titbits and what should they be given? When we had hybrids before we got them at POL so they were always allowed corn, veg etc. but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to chicks!

I put my chicks on growers at about 6-8 weeks old depending on when I run out of chick crumb. as for extras it depends on weather they are broody raised or hand raised with mine broody raised they tend to eat a more varied diet as they get to free range and mom finds them tasty titbits I also give the mob garvo alpha chick as a treat at tea time when I've got a broody and chicks out with the mob. but with hand raised I wait until they are on growers then they get the odd dried meal worm.

You dont say how old they are but presuming they are over 6 weeks they can have some treats but do ensure they have grit (insoluable - not the stuff with shells in)
