ES is heavily into his rock music and YS obviously hears it. He made me smile this morning as he was in his room getting ready for school singing the AC/DC classics "Rock'n'roll DALMATION" and "The Girl's Got RIBBON"!

When YS (now 14) was little, he used to sing along to Bob Dylan's 'Ants Blowing in the Wind' and Rainbow's 'Sooty's Been Gone' We still refer to the songs like that!

Many years ago I had a German penfriend and her little brother at about the age of 10 used to tear around shouting the most obscene rock lyrics at the top of his voice blissfully unaware of their meaning. He did ask me to translate, but my German was no really up to it (not to mention what his parents would have said). Did make me smile though.

There was a thread on here a while back about getting song lyrics wrong. Things like that always make me laugh.

YS has just turned 6. ES was just about to go and tell him the right words, but I stopped him. From now on, the songs will always be rock'n'roll dalmatian and the girls got ribbon.
