I have turned my incy back on

 

I have 12 orpington eggs that will go in tomorrow, I am hatching them for a friend who has lost a lot of her orpington flock to the fox recently so she is trying to increase her stock again. They are eggs from her remaining chooks.

 

When they hatch they will go back to her but my incy is bigger than hers as she has the little Brinsea one as she usually hatches with a broody.

Thank you but it is a bit selfish too I get to hatch again

 

I hope a good number hatch for her she was so upset when the fox visited. She is also going to hatch some at the nursery she runs so the children can see .

Candled them yesterday day 11 couldn't do it on day 10, 7 seem to be progressing well and the other 5 were not fertile

Last night when I topped up the water chambers I could hear cheeping

 

This morning two had pipped but I had to go to school, hurried back this afternoon and there are two chicks and another egg has pipped. I am so thrilled
