Requested tickets for the Athletics this morning and was shocked and delighted to get 2. Went through all the payment bits, panicking as you only get a short while to fill it all in and the clock ticks down in front of you.

 

Visa card was declined and I lost the tickets. OH phoned up Visa to have a go at them and they checked and said I put the wrong security code in. I am so upset and annoyed with myself. Needless to say there are no more tickets now.

 

I am normally so computer literate and careful.

Oh how annoying for you I know what you mean about the pressure of a clock counting down though. I got to pieces when I have one at checkout As a family of 5 we have given up on most tickets as you can only get 4 We do have football tickets to see England vs Uruguay though as you are allowed to buy up to 30 of those

I wouldn't have minded so much not being allocated any tickets - it was the fact that I had them and lost them through my own fault

I would probably have been at the top of the stadium watching the action on a screen anyway as I imagine you have to pay the ridiculous top prices to be anywhere near the action.
