My lovely younger son Ant managed to get a day ticket for TITP (£70) He left at dawn and got a lift up with some friends who are camping. At the entrance Ant said that he had a day ticket and wasn't camping so the gate person went to get her supervisor. Result - Ant has to wait OUTSIDE the park until 4pm whilst his friends who are camping have full access to the arena. I'm Ant is a bit more philosphical & at least it's dry for the mo.

What a shame A bit of leeway and goodwill wouldn't have gone amiss would it I hope the weather is kind to them and that they have a good evening

I'm assuming the Day Ticket was for that day? Surely a Day Ticket means you get the whole day at the venue? That seems really mean . Is the music only on at night (never been, so a tad ignorant )?

It normally says on your ticket what time the main arena open & usually people who are camping aren't allowed in until then, but obviously they still have access to the campsite and any stalls/foody things that are set up in there

Cheers He will hopefully be able to meet up with his friends later & he will have a great day/evening/night but I'm just sorry that he's having to spend 7 hours outside a locked gate in the mean time. As c/m said a wee bit of goodwill & everyone would have been happy. Anyway at least the sun is shining for them now. Thanks folks. Alli x

Not home yet His Day ticket seems to have become elastic The arena opens much earlier today so looks like he'll have a ball. Weather is vile tho'

Well at least he is getting full value out the ticket now
