Just that really, do you think it's important to have a kickboard on your WIR panels or not?

I'd say yes kickboard.

Although, it would depend on how concerned you were about the bedding being on the outside of the WIR. The bedding will get through the mesh very easily, especially when the chickens scratch around.

I would say yes too, we use bark and they kick that out too, everywhere there is no kick board!

Me too, despite being out all day they love to go and dig the woodchip everywhere, it keeps most of it in.

Thanks everyone, well I ordered my run last night - and you'll be pleased to hear it has a kickboard! Hope fully it will be here in the next fortnight then I can start painting it ready for the big project a couple of weeks after that. Hopefully it will be done and dusted in a month's time and I will have happy, dry chickens that aren't knee deep in mud (do chickens even have knees - you know what i mean!)

I definitely will, I don't think I've ever been so excited in my life! Just need the weather to turn a bit so we can get the concrete and slabs in...

Just been out to see the chickens, it's so horribly sludgy and stinky out there, I think the chooks and neighbours will be more pleased than I will with the new run!
