:( I have just read a post about stale grain being dangerous to dogs, my lab seems to have an upset tummy at the moment-she seems ok in herself and no mess in the house at all, even though when she goes it's like water!! After reading the stale grain post I'm a bit worried :? Could it be that she's eaten some of the chickens food? They have mash and a few pellets would this upset her tummy if she's found a few in the garden. It could only be a small amount that inca(dog) would have eaten as we feed them in the !gored! But last nite my husband did throw some pellets around as the chickens loved scratching for them, I really hope I'm worrying without need?

I expect it is something she has eaten, although whether or not it's the pellets I don't know. Certainly Tango has eaten chicken food in the past with no ill effects  but that doesn't mean it's not what has upset your dog.

When Tango has had liquid poo explosions before (sorry! :vom: ), I tend to starve her for her next meal and then feed something very plain for 24 hours or so after that (boiled chicken, no skin/scrambled egg/cooked fish with potato etc). Usually that does the trick.

If in doubt, maybe give your vet a call though.

This is slightly connected so not strictly off thread, but thoroughly disgusting, so look away if you're of a delicate disposition!

I spotted some poo on the lawn at lunchtime and was surprised that I'd missed clearing it up. On closer inspection is was a very runny cat poo :vom: as I raced to get a poo bag and usher the dogs back indoors, Ruby started to eat it, then Cyrus rolled in the remains. To say I was unhappy is an understatement, I think the whole neighbourhood heard my fishwifely bellows. I was late back to work too after sorting out the fall-out.
