scubababe
Just wondering? Only managed to have a quick look at the fowl tent as we were short on time. OMG....so many different varieties! I think hubby was secretly pleased we were short on time or I would be hatching a new plan And the weather was with us until we had to leave and then the heavens opened...just as we were near the car It was well attended which was really good to see Loads of horses & dogs on display/showing. My Cavalier was supposed to be a 'show' dog I just forgot to tell her!!
Plum
Missed it this year, in fact had forgot it was going to be on until the radio was announcing it was the last day. I love seeing all the big shire horses there
counturchickens
Should have gone, but saving time off work as we're moving house soon. Will be making an extra effort next year, although I dont think I'll be showing my ex batts
Egluntyne
I forgot about it too. Maybe we should flag it in 'Get Togethers' next year?
scubababe
Must admit I had forgotten about it until the first day was on the local news. As I had no work we decided to make the most of it The big horses were stunning. We saw them as they were showing them in their small area and when they came into the show area with their carriages....stunning Maybe we could start our own 'ex-batts' category there Will see how my business is next year and what kiddies I have. Will see if I can take them all to the show or may just close the business for the day
riane
Yes we made it on Thursday afternoon. Had a great time. The children dragged me away from the fowl and feathers. We enjoyed the heavy horses and ponies. The kids had a go at hook a duck and the red arrows simulator. Then they made pizzas in the Derbyshire school meals tent. Next year I will have a little wander on my own so I get more chicken time! The vegetables and flowers were amazing!
counturchickens
Egluntyne, we should put it into get togethes next year. There does seem to be one or two of us up this end!
