ClaireG
Firstly at what age do kittens normally have their first jab? Secondly, do they really need the leukemia jab? It's just that it doubles the price.
craftyhunnypie
I would go with them all - as cat Leukeamia is not nice. I seem to remember it being around 12 weeks for my little Poppy cat, but I can't quite remember. If you ring your vets they will be able to help. I'd get your kitten microchiped too. If she is a girl, you might want to think about future neutering. A pets health can be expensive, but worth every penny. Maybe think about some insurance or putting money away each month to pay for future health expenses. Emma.x
ClaireG
Thanks Emma I've got two, a boy and a girl and defiantly want to get both done. The vets are offering 4 weeks free insurance when you get vacs which i thought was a good deal
Lavenders_Blue
As a child, I had a cat who contracted leukaemia and had to be PTS so I'd say definitely get the jab.
Omletina Kyckling
Have you looked at vets4pets? Their vaccs for life programme is very good and saves money in the long run. My kitties had their first vaccinations at 9weeks.
