Minty_76
Had an awful day yesterday. Been away at my parents for a week and coming home discovered my bunny Shanty had fly strike. It was such a horrific sight. The vets said the maggots hadn't actually got into his body but his skin was bleeding and he had lost part of a testicle. I couldn't let him be in pain like that. I made the sad descision to have him PTS. He was a rescue bunny about 7 years ago so he would have been 8ish. He always had loose poo and had GI Stasis last year. We will miss him. lillybettybabs
I'm so sorry, It is a big risk with rabbits with tummy problems, my youngest rescue bunny has a sensitive tummy. My two are on a 80% hay diet, 10% pellets and 10% greens which seems to keep things balanced.
