Purplemaniacs
I would love to share some photos of my new hatchlings but I have never ever managed to put a photo on her OH does occasionally but he is away for the week. So does anyone have an idiots guide Is it through Photobucket still or somewhere else, do I have to register there and do I pay for this? Sorry stupid question but I would like to master this photo thing I have been on here for ages and would love to share some pictures with you all Chrissie
Couperwife
Photo bucket is free so is flickr Put the photos on the computer, then upload to either, it's dead easy, there is a button called "upload" You can then link the photo to the forum page, next to the photo should be a hyperlink, you copy the link then paste it on the forum page. If you go through the URL thingy at the top it makes it a proper linky Now...I've not done this for ages, there are probably bits I've missed out Good luck! Leicester_H
I use photobucket. I suggest you create an album (give it a sensible name), upload photos to it. Under each photo, there are some 'links' - click on the one called 'IMG CODE' - this will automatically copy it. Then in your forum message, use V to paste the copied code. Use preview to check all OK.
Chortle Chook
Here's a step by step. Hope it helps To upload a picture to Photobucket 1. Go to Photobucket and sign up 2. When you have your Photobucket account enter your user name and password 3. Click on green 'upload' button to load up your picture 4. Click large green button that says 'Select photos or videos' 5. From here select the appropriate tab according to whether you wnat to go to the filing system on your PC or to Facebook. 6.Click on the picture you want to upload 7. Click blue button 'Save and continue to my album' To re-size and share it on Omlet 1. In your main Photobucket album, go the picture you want to share and double click on it so you get just that one picture, 2. hover your mouse near the top of your picture and a button saying 'resize' comes up. 3. Select 320 x 240 and 4. click the confirmation button when the 'are you sure' message appears. 5. Then click on the IMG code box on the right which will copy the code that you can then paste (ctrl V) into your Omlet post.

Purplemaniacs
Well I have done it I think I have added a picture of Tumble to this post http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=88910 I had a job with the size, it was too big only some of the image showed up but now I think it is too small. I thought I had altered it to 320x240 as Chubby Chook said but it was too large then I clicked somewhere not sure I can do it again. Any more advice on resizing. Thank you so much for your help I would never have managed it without you. Chrissie
Purplemaniacs
Oh no it has gone large again, help please!! Chrissie
Geoid
No it hasn't, take a look again, if it still looks huge, press the refresh button. Sometimes your computer is a bit slow at processing the smaller image, but trust me, its small.
