zakjon-98
When I got home today my dog was excited as usual and as I was giving him him fuss he managed to pull/rip out a piercing retainer (a long, clear, plastic earring to hide piercings from work) from a cartilage piercing on my ear called a conch piercing. It was quite painful and did bleed a fair bit but I could not find it again afterwards and I am fairly sure he has eaten it Although they are clear and could be hard to see I'm pretty sure I would have found this as I looked on my small hallway floor for 15 minutes and he may have found it appealing to eat if there was blood on it I pressume he will just pass it. Should he be okay?
mollyripkim
That sounds painful! I would imagine it will just pass through if it's quite small.
The Dogmother
I wouldn't worry about it too much; it'll pass through in time. Dogs eat plenty of rubbish and survive. Hope your ear is better son.
zakjon-98
Thanks for your replies I thought it would pass too but just wanted to make sure.
Bramble
If it helps, I (apparently) ate a tiddly-wink when I was a nipper, and I survived that!!!!!!!!
