Jules.
I had a phonecall this week to tell me i have won some tickets for the Wigan Jazz Festival which is on next week. I could choose who to go & see at Wigan Athletic's ground the JJB stadium (presume it is indoors!), & since I know nothing about jazz, just like entering competitions, hubby suggested the Shakatak gig, as he remembers them- being older than I am and more hip. We go next thursday....should be good! http://www.wlct.org/Tourism/Jazzfest/jazzfest.htm

gooner.girl
Ahhh! Is it a small show then? I imagined gig with 1000's of people! That must be a hospitality suite of some kind!
Jules.
Probably.... but the tickets do cost £20 apiece
Jules.
Well, I went to the gig last night, & i have to say I enjoyed it, even though I didn't know any of their music beforehand. I thought they had a bit of a sound of "Level 42" ( who I really like) so that was a plus.
