Opal seems to have calmed right down and stopped being shouty, so I think it must have been moving-in nerves. She has also been a very good girl today and NOT ESCAPED in fact she even layed me a beautiful little brown egg so she has redeemed herself for her naughtiness of yesterday

On the other hand, sweet, innocent little Pearl hopped over the fence again, but it was not long before bed (same time as yesterday) so she was probably looking for somewhere to roost again. Hopefully she'll stop too once she works out where to go to bed. Reluctant to clip her wing as it clearly did absolutely nothing for Opal!
