Helly Welly
I planted some leeks today. I also got some seed in the post ready for Autumn planting; broad beans to be sown in October, Peas to be sown in October to early November, cauliflower to over-winter in the unheated greenhouse and carrots to do the same. I'm also waiting arrival of my onion sets to be planted in November, A collection of Spring Brassicas and garlic. I got all these from Marshalls, its nice to plant something in Autumn/Winter. ubereglu
Did you get a bit carried away Sarah? I'm thinking of growing an early variety of purple sprouting brocolli and some more leeks in winter. Tomorrow I'm going to plant some peas to get a later crop. What do you use to support them?
