craftyhunnypie
I've been asked if I'd like some craft books for my birthday. You bet I would! But I'm unsure what to go for. I've got Kirstie Allsop Craft, I have a fair few knitting books, felties book, Amigurumi books. Can anyone recommend any good craft books? I love sewing, whether it be by machine or hand. I like vintage, kitsch & quirky or whimsical stuff. I don't really want any books on making quilts though - as I like to make those up myself. Books on handmade gifts or small things to make or things for the home - I love. Can anyone help - please? Thanks ..Emma.x
Snowy
Can't recommend any specific ones, but have you created a wish list on Amazon? Add any books you like the look of and send the list to your giftee. That way what you get will still be a surprise! I have a huge wish list of bits and bobs and books I'd like, and send it to the eldest son and husband - it's very handy
Jennifer Jane
I've recently bought Simple Sewing with Lola Nova off Amazon. That's got some quirky projects in there and is divided into sections by style. You can look inside on Amazon and it might be worth taking a look at her blog if you've never read it. Couperwife
Have you considered a subscription to a craft magazine? I have a knitting magazine every month and I love getting a new one every time Cathy X
craftyhunnypie
I already have a subscription to a knitting magazine. I planning on cancelling it soon though, as it is getting repetitive. Thanks Christian, I've ordered that Xmas book! Emma.x
