TV has got good again

Recommended Posts

Now that the Autumn schedules have started there seems to be so much great TV on at the moment.

There is Strictly,X-Factor & Downton of course.

Then Homeland started again last week :P

We also really enjoyed a new thing called Hunted, which is apparently the new Spooks (which I never saw)

True Blood has been great this season too.

Friday Night Dinner has returned  as has Fresh Meat, for those who enjoy a bit of inane offensive comedy

And Modern Family is back too - I love this show.

Then a few nights ago I watched the most hilarious show about Jewish Mothers.....Jewish Mum of the Year I think it was called.

Just need my Dexter fix now & I will be happy :P:P:P

I have been waiting for some good viewing too , for those cosy nights in. I hear a new season of bones is on the way too, i enjoyed the first homeland so will be catching up on the new one. A few late night movies would be nice for when i forget to take my pain meds and have to sit up till they kick in so i can crawl into bed.

Now I've got a Tivo box, I'm discovering all sorts of programmes I'd never heard of :P . I'm watching or have recorded but not watched yet, these shows:

Dallas (didn't expect to enjoy it but I am!)

The Paradise

A Gifted Man (slightly predictable but OK)

Homefront

Person of Interest

Perception (seen one episode, suspect I might get fed up soon)

Game of Thrones (brilliant!)

Modern Family (my favourite ever :P )

Moone Boy (with Chris O'Dowd - it's almost over but its very funny)

The Lying Game (a teen drama but I'm really enjoying it)

Lilyhammer (starring Steven Van Zandt aka Little Stephen/member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band - quite surreal but very good)

Downton Abbey obviously!

Also can't wait for Dexter, The Walking Dead and The Good Wife to be on again!

That makes it look like I'm a real couch potato, I'm not really, honest :lol: .
