Definitely worth get someone round to check your home, even if you do have to pay something it is very small

I would if I could! I spoke to them last week and they said that there are no assessors in our area

And we had free cavity wall insulation last week!

We had free wall insulation when OH was out of work about three years ago but it seems to have made no differenceto our energy bills at all, even when taking into account the price rises

Our wall are thick and ok but we do get a chill for somewhere, You can get grants for window so i may look

into that too.

I seem to recall that a very serious downside is that the loan has a 25 year repayment term which you cannot reduce.

You might find yourself in the position of selling your house some years down the line, repaying the loan but still having to pay interest till the 25 years are up.

There was a piece in the paper today that not a single household had signed up to it and only one contractor..........that to me speaks volumes.

Like OSH, I recall something adverse about the deals, and also problems with selling the house... summat to do with ownership of the solar panels.
