clucker1
Thought a thread about this marvellous equestrian event would be good for the equestrians and other horsey enthusiasts amongst us. Saw the dressage to music to last night on BBC red button. Absolutely fabulous, have decided must get tickets for next year. Thank goodness!!!! for red button, otherwise wouldn't have been able to see it. Us Brits are amazing, as are all the riders and horses. The commentary in the first half annoyed me as they rattled on and on, sometimes about nothing to do with the actual test itself so it was dressage to commentary, think they must have got told off , as the second half was more dressage to music than commentary thank goodness. Can't wait til Thurs for more red button. Does anyone know re Sunday night from 6pm - 10pm on red button, are they broadcasting the whole show? Fingers crossed they are! Lavenders_Blue
I've not watched any of it yet this year. I remember my Dad taking me to Olympia as a child, and having an absolute blast - horsey heaven! The highlight of my day was watching the Shetland Pony Grand National

clucker1
The puissance last night....a whopping 7' 1". I saw the police display a couple of years ago, and now they take off their saddles whilst cantering and then go bareback whilst holding the saddle in the air!!
