Alis girls
My ginger cat had a bad fight with a new kit on the block - big bruiser of a tabby this pm. He came in with a bloodied nose and a nasty bite to frobnt paw. Took to vets and hes been given antibiotics and pain relief. hes been on and off my knee all evening for cuddles. They gave OH a lampshade job but trying to put it on was a joke. He made his leg bleed trying to get it off and we decided him licking it might be least of 2 evils. He looked like a satelite dish on legs and was all wobbly. Hope this will be alright. Hes under house arrest for 3 days - as an outdoor cat this will not be a good time. Alis girls
Thanks Molly - having just readother post By Princess Leia on her cat again - I wonder if should try lampshade again. I might ring vet and ask if ok to cover wound with a bandage or something.
mollyripkim
I don't know if it would help but there is a new sort of cat and dog collar that looks a bit like a cross between a donut and a pillow you would use on a plane. If you google medical cat collar they come up. As they are not big it means he can move around normally. Trouble is with delivery I guess he will be better by the time it comes. Groovychook
Oh, poor boy! Best wishes for his confinement and speedy recovery. My tabby boy has just had to endure almost 3 weeks inside after his adventures. He wasn't impressed.
Alis girls
Thanks Ladies - does anyone know if you can get a cat equivalent of tubigrip. Something I can slip on and off to check for infection. Vet didnt want it covered. I will google cat collar Molly for future use. I have told OH after these 2 go to the big cattery in the sky I want girls - they seem to fight less. YS a sensitive soul asked me not to put the cats satelite dish on as it upset him seeing him staggering about. I have taken my mobile with me when attending to hens in case I cant get back in. Cats have a knack of finding a door that might be opened at some point soon. I could be stranded in the garden for hours if this lot dont hear my shouts to be let in.
