TheChookKeeper
Hello! I have had my Beehaus for a few years now - and something I really do think that is lacking in it is a proper feeder. The little contact feeders that fit in the half-supers are FAR too small to be useful. PLEASE Omlet - would you design and produce something a little more sensible? If I could fill a half super with liquid feed - that would be great - but obviously, I'd need a waterproof super for that. Something that took both liquid and fondant would be great - be it half super or full-super size. Thank you!
Egluntyne
You would be better off writing to or emailing Omlet directly about your suggestion. They are unlikely to see your message on the forum.
Old Speckled Hen
Wouldn't a Miller or an Ashforth fit across the top? Maisemore's do a double rapid feeder that holds 13 Litres that should just sit on top as well. It doesn't need to sit in a super
TheChookKeeper
Thanks Old Speckled Hen - I'll check those options out!
Chickabee
Our bees have been fed a lot over the past couple of years, due to the weather. I was going to ask how you would do this with a beehaus. Glad I read this post
