Luvachicken
I know I can rely on my Omlet friends to ask advice about a steam cleaner. I would like one that is able to clean laminate floors really well - not all of them can be used on laminate flooring. Which ones would you suggest or not suggest and why ? Thanks very much xx
Patricia W
My OH says steam cleaners are the death of laminate floors. I would like to know how other people clean them though. I seem to end up with smeary marks.
Mercedes55
I've got the Vax bare floor pro and love it, now I actually enjoy cleaning my floors. We have ceramic tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, engineered wood in the hall and cloakroom and laminate in the conservatory. Only once have I noticed streaks on the conservatory floor, no idea why that happened as it was only on the laminate that I noticed it. My daughter in law has one and the whole of the downstairs of their house is laminate and she loves hers too.
Lavenders_Blue
Sorry I don't have laminate floors, but just thought I'd suggest the steam mop I recently bought from Asda - £22 and I think it's fab! If you got to the Asda Direct website and search 'steam mops' it should come up in the list and hopefully say in the description whether or not it's suitable for laminate. It works brilliantly on my tiled floors.
