charly1979 Posted June 22, 2013 Share Posted June 22, 2013 TRAUMA in the garden !!! The chickens well Trixie is the ring leader have just caught a frog and have killed it. Trixie is running around with it in her beak as some sort of trophy whilst Marilyn, Connie, Isla, Prilly and Clarabel run after her !! Kids are distraught as I wont get a vet !! UPDATE !!! Apparently the kids have retrieved the frog from Trixies gob and its now in the pond and Alex's exact words 'Its ok its alive because the algae moved' Well no pooh Sherlock that doesn't meant the bloomin thing is alive so I expect now I have a dead frog to cause me more trauma in few weeks when its body floats to the surface !!! Mind you I think I screamed more than them we got a double yolker the next day though so now I happily toss any worms, snails etc their way... am I cruel? I am going to rename her Trixie the Frog murdering bleep !! I could cope if it was a mouse (harsh I know) because it would be one less for Eyore and Kanga to bring in either alive or half eaten for me to tread on but the frogs they do something useful they eat slugs !!! Its like my girls have seen my delphinunums and thought ha ha like she has a hope in hell of those surviving but just in case we will eat all the frogs and let the slugs roam free Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
